I'm desperately trying not to sleep in this Sunday! I have to work on my exegesis but found myself procrastinating (I made my own strawberry jam). Ugh.

Three, Familiar Ground, Another Earth... it's quite nice that the last three films I saw for MIFF2011 were actually pretty awesome. Overall I'm pretty happy with the year's selections, and I guess I am very pleased that I mostly didn't regret the films I saw.

The Fourth Portrait
Much hype, especially for it's cinematography. It sort of paled though since I watched 'Tomorrow will be Better" prior. Camera work was nothing special, but the lighting was quite good. It had its nice little moments and was generally an okay film. It felt a bit disjointed though so I wasn't fully able to appreciate it.
