Freelancers often ask me why I have a slow program turnaround. "Why are you still using CS[insert previous version here]?"

Well kiddos...

1. Being a freelancer, you have to be able to integrate yourself into different companies' workflow. Though it may be cheap for an individual to keep up to date with the latest version, getting 10+ new CS every couple of years is not something many studios can afford.
